Not a day goes by that I don’t run across a stunning woman who looks fabulous in her jeans until she turns around! I am constantly asking myself the question, “Did she look in a three way mirror when she bought those jeans?”

Jeans can be almost as difficult as swimwear when it comes to finding the perfect fit. It is not one of those things that you can just throw on!

Sometimes I think when we try on jeans we think they look great in the front and we love the design and what the pocket looks like and it is a hot “in” jean, so we don’t really take the time to notice the muffin top forming over the back or the fact that our bum being sardined in a fit that does not work on our figure!

That said, I have compiled a list of tips to help in finding the perfect fit for all the beautiful body types out there. Here we go!

Here are some guidelines designed to help you pick jeans which will be the most flattering for your body type. Don't be afraid to experiment, as some types of jeans are made up from different styles combined, such as dark colored jeans with a low waist and kick flares.

High-Waisted Jeans

These will suit you if you have a long body and short legs. This is because the waist of the jeans makes the torso look shorter and your legs longer.

Flared Jeans

These will look great on you if you are a wide hipped individual. The width of the flares will balance out the width of your hips, making your body look more in proportion. But flares are best not worn by individuals who are short or who have short legs.

Skinny Jeans

If you are very slim then these will look great on you. The tapered ankle area makes hips look wider in comparison. Do not wear them if you are average or above in size. They really are meant only for very slim people.

Straight Legged Jeans

These look good on people who are already well proportioned and who do not have wide hips. Do not wear them if you have a large derriere or wide hips.

Low Rise Jeans

These are great for someone who has wide hips and look especially good if the hips are accompanied by a flat stomach area. Do not wear them with your tummy flowing over the top of them on view, or if you have a tiny bottom which you want to look bigger.

Dark Colored Jeans

These are slimming. Don't wear them if you are already smaller than you want to look. They will suit you however, if you want to achieve a leaner appearance.

Light Colored Jeans

These will make you look larger than you are. Don't wear them if you have large thighs, hips or bottom. However, if you are slim then they will look great on you, particularly if you feel that your legs are on the skinny side.

Jeans With Details

The details that can be on jeans may be anything from extra zippers, to embroidery or pockets. Embroidery tends to draw the eye of the observer towards where it is situated. Therefore it is best to only have such a detail where you want others to focus. If for example, you are very conscious of the size of your thighs, it would be better to steer clear from having embroidery on the top half of your jeans.

**Pockets tend to make bottom's look larger. Unless this is what you want, you should keep decorative pockets to the minimum, or avoid them all together on the back of your jeans.

I am hearing over and over again the statement that short skirts and mini dresses are back in business. I knew I had to share the news here on Glamour24-7!

It was solidified to me following the 2009 Emmy Awards. The mini styles this season were true stunners! I usually prefer the longer more traditional gowns but I discovered this year that the mini’s hit the top of my list!

My favorite dress of the evening was the Georges Chakra design worn by Dexter star Julie Benz. I love the winning combination of the modern cut in the top and classic elegance this dress presents. And the shoes, Jimmy Choo of course! They are HOT!  I always say less is more and the choice to not bling out with lots of jewels really makes this look beautiful! This is Glamour at its best!

Emmy winner Kristin Chenoweth also wore a stunning dress! This sparkling masterpiece by Zuhair Murad made a huge statement. The peek-a-boo shear sides add a to the sexy look and feel of this dress.  I love the silver metallic bag and shoes too.  The sleek ponytail and the soft makeup with smoky eyes were beautiful! This was a perfect combination for this pint-sized dynamo!

Mary Louise Parker chose a hot fall color for her emmy dress. She was so stylish in a deep purple Zac Posen. I love the way this dress lays across the body. A romantic and elegant look! She is gifted in the gam area too!

So the lesson here ladies is two fold! Metallics and Minis are hot! And the good news is, (as these lovely ladies prove) you don’t have to be under 30 to wear them!

I absolutely love the hot new denim trend fashion experts are calling “The Jegging” I saw the recent pic of Jessica Simpson wearing her J Brand 901 pair and I know these are also a favorite of Fergie.

I had to try them out myself. I never thought I would like a jean that fits so snug but they really are fantastic! I really love the way they slip so easily into my boots! Even the skinniest of jeans feel a bit crammed inside and these do not! They are so slim that they work well with both tall and short boots. They retail for $139.

William Rast has their Sierra Denim Legging, which has a nice fit and wash. They are at Neiman Marcus for $155.

Joe’s makes one that is really nice too for only $78.00. I tried these as well. They have a really nice fit and are a bit more lightweight which would be nice for warmer temps.

The fabric on this bag is chiffon (with reinforcing fabric behind it for sturdiness). The brushed nickel frame is 8" long. The base of the clutch is 9". The clutch is 6" tall. There is nothing more unflattering than a swimsuit when it loses its shape. You know how it goes. If you guys are like me, it is really difficult to travel light! Pop Icon Madonna did not become super famous for her singing alone! No one is known more for their sense of unique style and ease at reinventing herself than she is. Well it appears her daughter Lola is following in her fashion-forward footsteps.

They have teamed up to create "Material Girl", available exclusively at Macy's.
