I love candles!  I always have.  The best compliment you can get is if someone comes over and says, “Your home smells amazing, what is that fragrance?” One of my favorites is the Capri Blue Volcano Scent candle. It’s scent is an amazing bouquet of tropical fruits, sugared oranges, lemons, and limes. These are soy based and long burning too.  They are SO yummy! It comes in many colors and styles depending on what your home design is. I get so many compliments on mine that I started giving them as gifts! A great fragrance can transform a room... and your mood. Whether you are having a dinner party, taking a luxurious bubble bath,  or relaxing with your favorite book, this candle is a lovely treat.

I have always been a fan of foundation for a truly finished look.  Laura Mercier’s Oil Free Foundation is my personal favorite. You can put it on lightly for a more “dewey” look or layer it to your personal taste for a more “matte” finish.  It never looks “cakey” due to its lightweight nature.  It provides a clean full coverage that evens out the skintone perfectly.  You will be camera ready in minutes. For the best application, I recommend a makeup sponge or a brush.

One of the most important aspects of a glamourous look is your mascara!  I have searched high and low for the perfect mascara and I have found it! It is Prescriptives False Eyelashes Mascara. I prefer it in black.  It is the perfect blend of being long lasting without being waterproof.  It is actually very easy to remove which I like. It works really well in giving you that voluptuous long lash look and it does not clump. It also contains conditioners which help strengthen your lashes.  It is a mid range price at $19.50 but worth it!!

Hint: Always use an eyelash curler prior to use for best results.

If you are like me, you put a lot of value in the purse you carry. It is such an important part of our wardrobe! There is nothing more frustrating then going out to a restaurant or bar and trying to put your lovely bag on the back of your chair and it keeps falling off! This has happened to me so many times! You don’t want to leave it on the table, and placing it on the seat of an empty chair works only if there is an empty chair available. The worst thing, is to have to put it on the floor! Floors can be dirty and sticky. We have lots of outdoor patio dining here in LA and there have been so many times when my only choice was the dirty ground.
